Ivy Hill Academy is an amazing school. They practice “conscious discipline” with their students and this has given my 3 year old a way to take control of his actions and emotions. (Yes, my 3 year old!) He loves his teachers (he has two – the ratios are excellent) and all of his classmates. There is a big sense of love and connection between everyone. I am also thrilled that he gets to continue Kindermusik at his school – his Kindermusik teacher visits his classroom every Friday. The school is small but it gives it a home-vibe (vs. an institutional vibe) that I really like. I could go on and on. I highly recommend this school.

My child has been at Ivy Hill since it opened at the beginning of 2006. They are truly dedicated to their students. They have very low ratios and all teachers have a college degree.

My son went here from age 2 and a half to 5, and loved it. It’s just amazing how well the kids learn to get along with each other here, and the good habits hold up outside of the classroom.

My two children attend Ivy Hill and we couldn’t be HAPPIER! it’s such a family environment and their teachers are college educated and there aren’t a lot of students in each room. These two things were very important to us. We toured other schools in the area but found most of them to be more daycare then school with teachers that were very young and only had the minimum requirements. I love that not only do I have a relationship with my children’s teachers but with the administration and most of the staff. Every teacher in the building address my children by their names and always make us feel welcomed and loved. I only regret that since it’s a small school not everyone can have this experience! We LOVE YOU IHA!
